Lama Drupon Thinley Ningpo Rinpoche blesses Asian Willow Gallery.
On the morning of February 6, 2009, Lama Drupon Rinpoche arrived at Asian Willow Gallery for the purpose of blessing the shop and its' contents.  All who attended were pleasantly surprised when Lama Drupon wanted to bless everyone individually and did so.  The Lama sat in a Chinese horseshoe style chair and chanted and rang bells during his prayer, after which, he took a live leaf dipped in saffron water and blessed the entire store and its' collection of furniture and accessories.  Jasmine tea, cookies, and fresh fruit were served following the blessing, and everyone had a chance to converse with the Lama, who incidentally has a great sense of humor and a good command of the English language.  When the Lama had departed for the Bhuddist center where he held seminars, everyone agreed that the energy in the shop was somehow different and very positive.
